Cotton is much more absorbent than synthetic fibers and is always soft on the skin. Organic cotton in particular has a very low allergy potential and is therefore a material for almost everyone. Furthermore, our organic cotton is very robust and can be ironed and washed with hot water. At the end of use, all of our 100% cotton fabrics can be recycled and made into new fabrics. This substance therefore has the potential to contribute to the circular economy.
No toxic chemicals are allowed in the production of organic cotton, so plants need 88% less water and 62% less energy. Cotton is usually grown in areas where water is scarce, while organic cotton is fed with rain up to 80%.
Our organic cotton fabric bears the GOTS label, a globally recognized standard that ensures that the most ecological and socially responsible methods have been used in production.
As standard, we work with heavy cotton quality such as our 160-180g/m2 jersey for T-shirts and our sweat fabric with 300 - 340g/m2 for our hoodies and sweaters.
Our products for T-shirts (jersey):
100% organic cotton (180 g/m2)
100% organic cotton super-soft (150 g/m2)
The difference between these two fabrics is the finishing and the thickness of the fabric. Our classic jersey is a grippy and smooth jersey fabric with a nice weight. The super-soft jersey, on the other hand, is extremely soft (extremely extreme!) and is particularly popular in the colder months.
Our products for hoodies and sweaters (sweat):
100% organic cotton winter sweat (340 g/m2)
100% organic cotton summer sweat (340 g/m2)
After a long search, we found a robust yet soft hoodie fabric in our sweatshirt. If you want the hoodie to be extra soft, choose the hoodie including fleece on the inside, i.e. the “winter sweat”. For anyone who likes to have the hoodie a bit thinner, order the “summer sweat” without fleece.
