Do you know what takes time? Good merchandise! And do you know what still needs time? A good cup of coffee on Monday morning, but that's another story.
Today I want to talk about the importance of good merchandise and why this process takes some time. At Das Merch., we do not go the fast route (keyword print on demand), but we focus on quality and sustainability. For us, sustainability is more than just a trend or a fancy buzzword that you put into a LinkedIn post in order to be hip. No, we're serious.
Almost all of our products are made to order in Portugal. And do you know what that means? No overproduction that rots somewhere in a dark camp or, worse still, is incinerated. Our t-shirts, hoodies, etc. are only made when you really need them. This in turn means fewer resources consumed and therefore CO2 savings.
Perhaps you already know why the whole thing takes time. However, we have managed to set up a process that is not only sustainable, but also works relatively quickly. After you have placed your order with us, we immediately get started. Our partners in Portugal are real professionals and use their sewing machine to create your perfect textiles. We have produced and delivered your order within approximately 8 weeks.
All production steps take place in Portugal and every single piece goes through almost all of these steps. At the beginning, the yarn is woven into a roll of fabric and dyed as needed. The roll of fabric is then cut to size, where the individual pieces are cut. It is then sent to the printing house or embroidery, where the desired finishes are applied. In the next step, the individual parts are stitched together and finally washed, ironed and packaged. As you can see, it's actually quite a hassle!
In this sense, time is relative, but good merchandise takes time. Let's rock the world of textiles together and protect the environment!

We offer various shipping options, from standard to express. Depending on your location and the urgency of your order, we can arrange the best shipping solution for you. Delivery to several locations is also possible.
For orders of 500 pieces or more, we will create a sample (for a fee) on request after the order has been placed. For small orders, we can send you a package with various customer projects. You can easily book this package by scrolling down and clicking "Order sample".
Sustainability is the core of our brand. We use materials from ethically responsible sources almost exclusively (more than 95% of all orders) and work with production partners who are committed to environmentally friendly practices. In addition to sustainable materials, all textiles are produced in the EU. We have a close relationship with our production partners and employ a tailor shop with around 10 employees in Fafe, Portugal. In addition, we only work with GOTS-certified printing companies. Since we manufacture the products directly and do not use blanks from other brands, we can still produce your desired product after several years. Should a material or accessory no longer be available from one of our production partners for any reason, we will find an individual solution for you with our team in Portugal.

The fastest way is through our configurator. Live pricing is integrated there, so you can see how the price changes with every design change. If you need a written offer, please contact us using the contact form.
Our minimum order quantities start at 50 pieces per design. This means that you can order a t-shirt or hoodie in different sizes, but you must buy 50 pieces of the same T-shirt in the same color with the same design. For socks, we have a minimum quantity of 300 pairs per size range (e.g. 39-42 or 43-46). Take a look at our configurator, there you can see exactly how much your design will cost.
Delivery times vary depending on product type and order quantity. We can deliver some products such as t-shirts and hoodies in our standard colors in around 4 weeks, but in general, you should always plan for 8 weeks. For specific time estimates depending on your order, please contact our customer service.
